Hyderabad, India — The 72nd edition of the Miss World pageant is set to culminate in a grand finale today at the HITEX Exhibition Centre in Hyderabad, India. This marks the third time India has hosted the prestigious event, with the previous occasions being in 1996 and 2024 .

Representing India is Nandini Gupta, a 21-year-old from Kota, Rajasthan. Crowned Femina Miss India World in 2023, Nandini holds a degree in Business Management from Lala Lajpat Rai College in Mumbai. She has expressed immense pride in representing her country on home soil and aims to bring the Miss World crown back to India, following Manushi Chhillar’s win in 2017 .
Nandini has already made a mark in the competition by winning the Top Model challenge for the Asia & Oceania region, showcasing her poise and elegance .
