Iranian FM Accuses US and Israel of Killing Civilians in School Bombing Claim
Iranian Foreign Minister has shared an image on social media showing what he claimed were graves prepared for more than 160 young girls allegedly killed in a US-Israeli bombing of a primary school.
In his post, Araghchi accused the and of deliberately targeting civilians, describing the incident as a “heinous crime” and part of a broader pattern of violence against non-combatants.
The Iranian foreign minister strongly criticised recent remarks made by US President , without detailing specific comments, accusing Washington of moral hypocrisy and political complicity in civilian deaths. He said the victims were innocent schoolchildren and asserted that such attacks violate international humanitarian law.
Araghchi’s statement comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, with increasing civilian casualties reported during ongoing military operations. While the claims have circulated widely on social media and Iranian state-linked platforms, independent verification of the incident and casualty figures has not yet been confirmed by international monitoring agencies.
The United States and Israel have not issued immediate responses to Araghchi’s allegations. Both countries have consistently maintained that their military actions are aimed at armed groups and infrastructure, and not at civilians.
The post has further intensified diplomatic rhetoric between Tehran and Washington, as calls grow from various international quarters for restraint, accountability, and independent investigations into civilian harm during armed conflicts.
