The survey also noted gender differences. About 58% of Indian men voiced confidence in Trump, compared to 47% of women. India ranks among the top five nations with high trust in Trump, alongside Nigeria, Israel, Kenya, and Hungary.
Globally, a median of 34% of adults have confidence in Trump, while 62% lack confidence.
The report, titled “US Image Declines in Many Nations Amid Low Confidence in Trump,” shows India, Kenya, and Nigeria as the only countries where at least half of respondents view Trump as honest. However, 80% globally label him as “arrogant,” and 65% see him as “dangerous.” In India, 59% view Trump as a strong leader, and 50% believe he can handle complex issues.
